Flag Champs and Esports
For the second time in three years, Cobb has the state champion in Flag Football. The Pope Greyhounds beat the Allatoona Buccaneers to secure its first title in the sport, and proving that Cobb has some of the best Flag teams to be found anywhere.
District AD Don Baker and Dr. Sally Creel, Supervisor of STEM and Innovation, also join the episode to discuss another up-and-coming sport: Esports. The two help to explain the sport and how Cobb is ramping up its teams all over the District. It's an interesting discussion that is about much more than video games, much like esports itself.
